Adventure Days and Teen Day Trips

Adventure Days ages 5 -12
Adventure Saturdays happen once each month and are for kids ages 5 -12. This program takes place on our campus and much like our summer Wild Weeks, the activities are determined by the seasonal weather and interests of the kids. Often this includes things such as field games, boating, creek exploration, fire building, camp craft, etc.
While much of what we do on Adventure Days will be weather dependent, kids can expect to explore, play, work with peers, and learn a new skill or two!

Adventure Days are from 9 AM - 4 PM (Full Day).
Half Day Options: 9:00 -1:00 or 12:00 - 4:00

Teen Trips
Day trips just for ages 13-16. These trips will be activity specific and will include traveling to off-campus locations.
Teen Adventure Trips Spring 2026
Caving - February 7th
Winter is a great time to experience the underground world. We will explore an expansive and incredible cave that is great for both new and experienced cavers alike. The instructors will guide the group on a 3-5 hour excursion through the cave, identifying formations and learning caving techniques along the way. Transportation from campus and dinner will be provided.

Navigation - April 4th
In the age of smart phones and GPS tracking, some might think knowing how to use analog tools like a map and compass to navigate is obsolete. We believe navigation is a critical skill that could not only help you find your way, but develop a stronger sense of orientation in the world. This will be a full day of navigation in a backcountry environment both on and off trail. Students on this trip will learn how to use a map and compass and will have opportunities to practice through games and real world application. Transportation from campus and navigation tools will be provided.

Tuition: $75
Canoeing - May 2nd
Come explore a local river in tandem canoes with us! Students can expect to learn paddling strokes and techniques as well as the basics of reading the river. Transportation from campus and paddling equipment will be provided. Experience is not necessary for this trip and we will be on easy moving water.
